Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Version: 12.04 (all updates installed)
Package version: 5.8.0-0ubuntu2

If you turn the taskbar 100% transparent, the text overlays from the
global menu never dissapear.

The first time you re-maximize a program from the unity bar, the text on
the taskbar is fine. When you hover over the taskbar to take a look at
the menu, the name of the program turns black, and the menu names go
over it. The name of the program is still easily visible.

This goes for any change of text in that area. Browsing to a page with a
different name has the same effect. As long as the program stays open,
the black text underlay remains.

After a while, the underlay is cleared, and it looks as it should.

Ive attached a screenshot of what is going on (as its hard to explain)

It sometimes happens even if the menu is not changed.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to compizconfig settings manager, and select the Unity Plugin
2. Under "Experimental", set Panel Opacity to zero
3. While using a light background (makes it easier to see), open Firefox, and
hover over the menu.

** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
