@Travis, yes netconsole is a good way to do that. There is some documentation at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Netconsole Also, there is a newer version of the kernel than the one you tested when this issue was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the bug if this issue still exists or not. Had another kernel panic in the middle of upgrading to the latest lts. Box tells me there is a floating point exception when I run any commands.
