This is a configuration error. It can be caused by several factors: 1. You do not have drivers loaded for your sound card (cat /proc/asound/cards) 2. Your user does not have permission to use the sound card (getfacl /dev/snd/pcm* and make sure your user is listed in the ACL). 3.
