Public bug reported: After the update from Ubuntu 11.10 to Ubuntu 12.04. Wlan continuously disconnects (Kernel 3.2.0-23) and netweork manager tries to reconnect again. I actually never get a working connection. When I boot the old kernel of 11.10 (Kernel 3.0.0-17) Wlan works. However the speed at which the connection operates is unstable.
I expect wlan to work with 12.04. Using my mobile phone I have no issues. Further I cannot remember having had any issues with Ubuntu 11.10. The version of network-manager is 0.9.4.0-0ubuntu3 I have attached the syslogs and dmesg for both kernels. I've tried to upgrade to kernel 3.4-rc3 from http://kernel.ubuntu.com /~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.4-rc3-precise/. However in this case the sysmptoms are identic to kernel 3.2.0-23. lspci tells the following: 02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (rev 35) ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988576 Title: Wlan connection continuously disconnects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/988576/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
