[Bug 99210] Re: bdb_db_open: alock package is unstable

2008-08-05 Thread Connor Imes
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

2007-09-03 Thread Mathias Gug
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Are you trying to use the ldbm backend ?

The LDBM backend type has been deprecated in OpenLDAP 2.2 and has shown
to not work well.

2007-12-27 Thread Ross Golder
I've just had this problem, and solved it. Check the perms on your
/var/lib/ldap directory and files to ensure that the 'openldap' user can
write to it. I had mine left as 'root' from having just done a 'slapadd'
:)

Haciendo seguimiento al error, parece ser que el paquete de LDAP no fue
compilado con este soporte:

/usr/lib/ldap/back_ldbm-2.2.so.7
