@Adam Porter, There is a much newer kernel out now for Precise. It probably fixes this bug. If it does fix this bug, then please report it. If it doesn't or you simply don't know, please leave the bug alone. I also have this problem. I have this problem, though after that update my laptop didn't boot at all. It didn't boot with the previous kernel either.
