Can also confirm this bug. It happens for me on a ec2 micro instances with official canonical Ubuntu 12.04 LTS AMI. This is affecting me too. Have found http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=658184 however the work around doesn't seem to help me.
