You computation :

(2*2/5) =4/5=0.8

So gcalctool is correct.

Did you mean (2+2/5) instead ?

(2+2/5)=2.4

So gcalctool is correct again.

Hi Gauri,

   This is my suggestion to have a help file for any calci
application.Because I really felt difficult to understand  certain
operations. Regarding this fractional component I tried to perform
improper fraction (i.e) 2*(2/5) ,where I suppose to get 12/5=2.4.

  While performing a fractional operations for the value like (2*2/5)
  the result I got as 0.8 ,which is a invalid one.The valid result is
  found to be 2.4.This issue is found in programming mode.

  Steps to Reproduce:

  Open programming mode in calculator
  Click frac and then select values as(2*2/5) and click answer.
