Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Since Version 2.2.0 release, disabling file locking does not work
anymore.

It worked in the 2.2.0rc2 version quite well.

I saw that there is a new config file in /etc/openoffice where this
should be configured, but it has no effect...

I have some files on on old NFS-Server which cannot be modified with the
current Version 2.2.0-0ubuntu2

I tried several things in the config, with no success. Currently my
"/etc/openoffice/soffice.sh" looks like this:

export FILE_LOCKING=no
export ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING=no
export SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING=0

# (some of these may be wrong...)

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
