Tx Ashton Tribe does the job, so now the liveCD is running. from there minor problems wit kubuntu, can't download Firefox. error with packages missing, but it will probably be solved from the team. hi Evan after /casper.log a message shows up: casper.log permission denied so no acces there. tried to write help after the promt and a lot of commandoes show up. Have installed the ubuntu on my old HP Pavillion ze 8500 without problems, and now I have a Zepto 6625WD 5000$ laptop and now Ubuntu won't install at all :). Tried too to download Kubuntu live CD and my screen just turns black. Just wonder what is job control, and how does one turn it on ?? since the error message says it is turned off. could this be a bios thing ??
