Re: [Bug 360957] Re: [LENOVO 17065DG] hibernate/resume failure
I tested with the live CD and resume still failed - I just got back to the live CD as if I had not hibernated. I must admit, though, I am a little puzzled as to how the live CD would handle this. Doesn't hibernate go to disk? Which part of my hard disk would it use? In any case, do you want the apport-collect info from the live CD or from my current system? Or could you use the information from the other bug I referenced? -- [LENOVO 17065DG] hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360957 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 360957] Re: [LENOVO 17065DG] hibernate/resume failure
Not at all wishing to be a whining user, but I already collected all this information for one release - see bug 469685 - and it has not been used as far as I can tell, so I don't have much incentive to go through the same process, with an alpha version, in response to an automated message! Can I do this from the live CD or would I need to really install lucid on my hard drive? -- [LENOVO 17065DG] hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360957 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
