Could it be a policy kit issue? Although I dont see any options for printers in policy kit (actually I get very few options now). The printer does not appear anywhere in kde, and is not listed when adding new printers. Well, before it immediately appeared in the printer system configuration. And then I was able to print. Now it isnt accesible in any print dialog.
