Re: [Bug 448061] Re: the secondary soudn card ICE1712 is detected but doesn't work
After some more experiments I noticed that volume control problem is caused by replay gain settings in Rhythmbox. After disabling replay gain - volume control is behaving normally. Re: [Bug 448061] Re: the secondary soudn card ICE1712 is detected but doesn't work
Thank you for the suggesiton, at least i have a sound now. however the problem with volume slider still remains. The volume slider behaves the same either in pulseaudio volume settings either in Rythmbox. As before, the problem is not see when using mpg123 or Totem. So may be it is a specific rythmbox issue? Also any ideeas how to fix bt headset issue? A simple power on of the headset block pulseaudio daemon for about 1 minute. BTW is there any temporary solution to this problem, until the real patch is released? Anyway I would like to test the unreleased fix! The ice1712 issue is well-known and depends on a fix landing in alsa-lib (that will not be in Karmic without sufficient testing, which, at this point, is fairly unlikely). -- the secondary soudn card ICE1712 is detected but doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448061 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
