Re: [Bug 639720] Re: gwibber form disappears
So, it finally happened while I was looking!. Well, it was behind the mail window, but I saw it disappear. No warnings. I restarted via the terminal, and here's what I got: ssherv...@isleham:~$ gwibber ** (gwibber:11877): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowState' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (gwibber:11877): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowActions' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (gwibber:11877): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowMoveResizeMask' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' Updating... Re: [Bug 639720] Re: gwibber form disappears
Omer, Can do. Should I kill the gwibber-service process first? That's usually still running, even though gwibber proc itself is gone. Re: [Bug 639720] Re: gwibber form disappears
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 522538 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522538 Kamus Ummmnot sure that it is the same as 522538. My PC is not set to suspend or hibernate, and it's happened while I have been actively working on the machine. It's not obvious when it happens (no popups or anything), and because I often have the gwibber window running behind my email window, with just the edge showing - suddenly it's gone and I've no idea how long it's been. I will do the upgrade and see if it helps. Thanks for looking at this for me. Re: [Bug 639720] Re: gwibber form disappears
And no sooner do I say that than I wake up to find that gwibber is gone again, but gwibber-service is still there, sleeping with a waiting channel of poll_schedule_timeout. Sorry. At least the time between failures has increased. Re: [Bug 639720] Re: gwibber form disappears
my gwibber has been stable for the last two weeks. It may be that the latest round of Ubuntu updates fixed whatever the problem was.
