Thorsten, I tried your workaround, but was still unable to upgrade to 10.10. I keep getting a terminal and a message that the nvidia driver cannot be found. I tried several times, but no luck. Thorsten, It looks similar. I will attempt the workaround as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I'm working a number of rotating shifts in the next few days, so it may be some time before I can try it.
