no no... before firefox was updated it was integrated with the ubuntu style skinny scrollbar. After being updated it didnt have it anymore. Perhaps it was a bug. But who cares.. problem solved. there was an upgrade to the new version of firefox. That addressed the issue. The scrollbar discontinued with ubuntu integration in return for just a standard scroll bar. after firefoox upgraded.. they changed their scrollbar look to compensate for that.
