[Bug 1034962] Re: bacula dependency on bacula-server fails with held broken packages
Hello Douglas, or anyone else affected, Accepted bacula into oneiric-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bacula/5.0.3-1ubuntu5.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . [Bug 1039143] Re: 046d:c52b USB3 port Logitech mouse using unifying receiver not always detected
I noticed that this is strictly a USB3 issue. I had a MacBook Pro (USB2 only), and this particular Logitech Trackman with Unifying Receiver worked just perfectly on 12.04 and early builds of Quantal. Then I moved to a Dell XPS (USB3 only) and it started to fail. Then I moved to my current ASUS G75 (USB3 only) and both 12.04 (that I fell back to for other reasons) and now again Quantal, all the way up to beta1, have issues with recognizing the Logitech device. As a side note, an older, WIRED Logitech Trackman of mine works perfectly fine on USB3, regardless of 12.04 or Quantal. From what I can tell this issues is really with USB3 and the Logitech Unifying Receiver. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1039143 Title: 046d:c52b USB3 port Logitech mouse using unifying receiver not always detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1039143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1049307] Re: FWTS reports several HIGH failures on an server
FACP Preferred_PM_Profile type 3 is a workstation, DMI type 1c is a blade, so this looks like the FACP is a little bit misleading. The FACP should be probably set to one of: 4 -Enterprise Server 5 -SOHO Server 7 - Performance Server ..but probably not 3 (workstation). Please confirm again if you still face this issue. ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049279 Title: Launcher shows progress for every item and missing items To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1049279/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 973096] Re: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash
Yes, you're right, those NVRM messages are fine - they just say that the driver found a couple of nvidia GPUs. I was wondering if you were getting Xid errors or the 'attempted to yield the CPU in atomic mode' mentioned earlier in the thread. Your issue might still be an nvidia problem - if the nvidia module locks up the kernel it can stop any further logging - but it might be a separate issue with X or unity. If you can do so, you could try removing one of the GPUs - I vaguely recall seeing other bugs related to running two nvidia cards. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973096 Title: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/973096/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I suspect that you are hitting upstream bug https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/1436 that was fixed in the upstream release 1.9.0 beta 7 (commit bdbf4f169e4d5d00b0616df19f7a55debb407f78) I'm not sure where the domain_type comes from, the SSSD has no option called domain_type. [Bug 1049186] Re: sssd forgets group memberships of foo when foo logs in; remembers them after ten seconds after restarting sssd
Without the SSSD logs it's hard to tell for certain, but I suspect this is caused by enumerate=True in the sssd.conf config file. The reason why the groups seemingly appear after about ten seconds is that after the SSSD provider starts up, the enumerate task is scheduled. In general, it *should* block the NSS operations until the initial enumeration has completed, though. Is the behaviour reproducable within a single SSSD session? In other words, if you log in after the ten seconds have passed and the getent command reports correct group memberships, does groups still show wrong membership? Also, is there a particular reason to use enumerate=True? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049186 Title: sssd forgets group memberships of foo when foo logs in; remembers them after ten seconds after restarting sssd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sssd/+bug/1049186/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 902096] Re: precise alpha 1 debian-installer static network does not support empty gateway
Additional data: - You can't set get_gateway='none' as a kernel command line option; it's documented as supported, but it doesn't work and you get an onscreen complaint that the network configuration is not valid - You can't netboot if your DHCP server doesn't supply a router option without supplying a gateway interactively There's also a no_default_route option given by 'debconf dumpdb' on a part-booted machine. I've yet to find any documentation of this or any evidence that it has an effect (also, assuming 'default route' == 'gateway', using the synonym in one setting is unhelpful). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/902096 Title: precise alpha 1 debian-installer static network does not support empty gateway To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netcfg/+bug/902096/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
