[Bug 1060964] [NEW] does not complete Empathy 3 password migration if MC 1:5.12.1-3 was ever used
Public bug reported: This is Debian #687933 and is fixed upstream in 5.12.3 and 5.13.2. (We'll be doing a 5.14.0 stable-branch release shortly, with the same code as 5.13.2.) Steps to reproduce == * Have Empathy on an old Ubuntu version (Empathy 2.x) with an IM (e.g. Jabber) account * Upgrade to a version of Ubuntu that had empathy (= 3) but telepathy-mission-control-5 ( 1:5.12.1-3) * Change your IM password (e.g. via your provider's website) Expected result === * Empathy tries to sign in with your saved password, fails, and prompts you for your password. You provide the new password. It works. Actual result = * Mission Control still knows your old password and tries to sign in with it. Empathy is never asked for your password, and does not have the opportunity to ask you for the new one. Sign-in fails and it is non-obvious how to recover. Workaround == Run seahorse and delete Mission Control's version of the password - the one that seahorse calls a Telepathy password (as opposed to Instant messaging password, which is Empathy's version). ** Affects: mission-control-5 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: telepathy-mission-control-5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: telepathy-mission-control-5 (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #687933 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=687933 ** Also affects: telepathy-mission-control-5 (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=687933 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #42088 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42088 ** Also affects: mission-control-5 via https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42088 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1060964 Title: does not complete Empathy 3 password migration if MC 1:5.12.1-3 was ever used To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mission-control-5/+bug/1060964/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1060877] Re: [Acer, inc. Aspire 7530G] suspend/resume failure
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.6 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs- upstream-testing' tag. Please only remove that one tag and leave the other tags. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'. [Bug 1060970] [NEW] Mouse pointer goes crazy
Public bug reported: After a while the mouse pointer runs over the screen along a straight line (upwards, downwards, diagonal etc.) if the numpad mouse was enabled using setxkbmap -option keypad:pointerkeys This bug will be difficult to reproduce as it seems to occur randomly and only in certain setups. I encounter it working under KDE 4.9 on Ubuntu 12.04 (also previous versions) which was why I asked here: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=111t=106913 I encounter it only working in dual screen setup with external keyboard and mouse (both Logitech) attached to my Lenovo T61 thinkpad. So far not if I do indeed use the numpad mouse but when it was left on unintentionally (not deactivated by pressing Shift+Num-Lock ). The movement of the pointer can be compensated by moving the mouse in the opposite direction but the pointer runs too fast to perform a secure logout/reboot. At the same time the system does not react to keyboard input. This is a serious bug which forces the user to force reboot the system without any chance to close unsaved files. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1060970 Title: Mouse pointer goes crazy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1060970/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1060550] Re: lxc-ls with ephemeral containers reports too many containers
Thanks for reporting this bug. Is this on quantal, precise, or something else? lxc-ls reports two rows of results - the first containing all containers, the second the active ones. It looks as though your output got squashed into one column containing all results. What happens when you do lxc-ls | tail -1 ? lxc-list is generally a nicer looking (but more tedious to script around) interface for viewing lists of containers. The actual format of lxc-ls output will be discussed at the upcoming UDS, and probably changed. ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1060550 Title: lxc-ls with ephemeral containers reports too many containers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1060550/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1054605] Re: Mount very slow for 22TB ext4 filesystem on Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 running kernel 3.2.0-30-generic
I'd like to perform a reverse bisect to figure out which commit upstream fixes this bug. It would be very helpful to know the last kernel that had this issue and the first kernel that did not. Can you test the following kernels and report back?
