the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

I can confirm the issue and it happened straight after upgrading to gvfs
(and I quote from the changelog: "* New upstream bug fix release.").

The version I'm on now and that is causing these issues is
1.18.1-0ubuntu1.

When I updated to 13.10 and Chromium 29.0.1547.65-0ubuntu2, a few
extensions stopped working properly. The easiest to reproduce is Reddit
Enhancement Suite 4.3.0.1, it immediately fails on loading the extension
with this error:

chrome.extension is not available: 'extension' is not allowed for
specified context type content script,  extension page, web page, etc.).

Following from anywhere that called chrome.extension.sendMessage or
chrome.extension.onMessage in the extension. Chromium's own bug tracker
says this usage is deprecated (replaced by chrome.runtime namespace
which does work) but testing against Chrome 29.0.1547.76 on the stable
channel, the older namespace works correctly with the extensions.

[Bug 1232578] [NEW] Web browser icon should read "Web browser", not "Internet"

By default, Lubuntu creates a web browser "quick launch" icon for the
default web browser. However, this icon has three problems:

1. Its tooltip reads "Internet", which is incorrect. The web browser is only
one of several Internet applications Lubuntu offers, some others being Pidgin
and Skype, not to mention video games that can be played over the Internet.
2. The tooltip is not translated into any language but English.
3. The icon (lubuntu-browser.desktop) duplicates the LXDE-provided web browser
icon (lxde-x-www-browser.desktop), which does not suffer from problems 1 or 2.

Could you please use lxde-x-www-browser.desktop in the default
configuration and delete lubuntu-browser.desktop? I've put together a
patch that does exactly this; you are welcome to use it without
attribution or any other obligation.

Hi,

I've switched my phone to Mir, but this breaks activation of music-app
and mediaplayer-app from music and video scopes respectively.

Readding the --desktop_file_hints args in application-legacy.conf
(ignoring the SF test), it works again.

platform-api still seems to require this in both cases (SF and Mir), so
let's keep it?
