[Bug 1762308] [NEW] Use entire disk kept home from existing system

System has two hard drives, sda with both Mint 18.3 and Bionic 18.04; sdb with Bionic 18.04. The installer graphic showed it would use all of sda for Kubuntu. It actually used both drives in an LVM arrangement. This did not delete the existing systems and install an all new Kubuntu. [Bug 1749150] Re: Spontaneous single window freezing
Well, I was unable to spend much time in Gnome to reproduce the effect or refute it. OTOH it wasn't reproduced since this ticket start on host 1 and became much less frequent on host 2, after I switched drivers on it nvidia->nouveau and back. Also a new laptop showed it, but also rather rarely. I would second the guess it is KDE specific due to absense of other ideas. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1749150 Title: Spontaneous single window freezing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1749150/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1319542] Re: Unity urgent animation needs an adjustable time length.
Since the Launcher is not usable for me for the same reasons already stated (I use Ubuntu for work and this causes me a lot of trouble), I've downloaded the sources for Unity (I'm on Ubuntu 17.04) and modified the Launcher, so it will wiggle urgent icons every 10 seconds, whether the Launcher is hidden or not. Ideally, this interval should be configurable, but I haven't found yet how to read the config info. I would like to contribute this code if someone is interested, but I don't know how. For me, ideally the wiggle should last a bit longer, and the icon should reveal completely when the Launcher is hidden, but that change would be a bit more complicated, I assume (haven't really looked too much into it). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319542 Title: Unity urgent animation needs an adjustable time length. [Bug 1745646] Re: Battery drains when laptop is off (shutdown)
git bisect good de3ef1eb1cd0cc3a75f7a3661e10ed827f370ab8 is the first bad commit commit de3ef1eb1cd0cc3a75f7a3661e10ed827f370ab8 Author: Rafael J. WysockiDate: Sat Jun 24 01:58:53 2017 +0200 PM / core: Drop run_wake flag from struct dev_pm_info The run_wake flag in struct dev_pm_info is used to indicate whether or not the device is capable of generating remote wakeup signals at run time (or in the system working state), but the distinction between runtime remote wakeup and system wakeup signaling has always been rather artificial. The only practical reason for it to exist at the core level was that ACPI and PCI treated those two cases differently, but that's not the case any more after recent changes. For this reason, get rid of the run_wake flag and, when applicable, use device_set_wakeup_capable() and device_can_wakeup() instead of device_set_run_wake() and device_run_wake(), respectively.
