[Bug 231162] [NEW] onboard ethernet M3N78-EH doesn't work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules The base install of Hardy Heron doesn't support the onboard ethernet(Phy?). The motherboard is an Asus M3N78-EH with an nVidia Geforce 8200 chipset. Because I can't connect to the internet, I can't look for drivers that could get it working. The tarball logs.tar.gx contains some log files from a LiveCD boot and the logs2.tar.gx file contains log files from a fresh installation. ** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- onboard ethernet M3N78-EH doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231162 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 196811] Re: hal does not detect Quickcam Express as v4l-device
I've reported this issue at the qce-ga bugtracker, the project that is responsible for this driver. However, since the Launchpad BugWatch doesn't support the SourceForge bugtracker I have to post the link here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detailaid=2036956group_id=12924atid=112924 -- hal does not detect Quickcam Express as v4l-device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 230184] Re: HAL quirks tbd for Toshiba P100 resume from STR
It could be that bug 220607 describes the same problem. If that's true your problem will be solved in the 2.6.25 kernel and higher. However, you probably want this fixed now, and not when you upgrade to 8.10. I'm not sure what to do next, actually. When your bugs turns out to be a duplicate, it will be marked as such. Otherwise I'll try again to ask for someone who knows more about the kernel than I do to have a look at this bug. -- HAL quirks tbd for Toshiba P100 resume from STR https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230184 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
