[Ubuntu-ch] OpenExpo 2010 Final Things

2010-03-22 Thread Erwin Herrsche
Hi all

OpenExpo is in 2 days. Some final things:

* Those who want to attend and help out at the booth: Get yourself a ticket at
http://www.openexpo.ch/openexpo-2010-bern/gratis-ticket-bestellen/ and meet me
at the booth.

* Those who just want to drop in: Get yourselft a ticket at
http://www.openexpo.ch/openexpo-2010-bern/gratis-ticket-bestellen/ and meet me
at the booth ;-)

So I hope that's all. For any questions just ask.

[Ubuntu-ch] OpenExpo 2010 Berne

2010-02-18 Thread Erwin Herrsche
Hi everyone

Sorry for not letting you hear from me for some time. I had som exams, but now
they're over.

Here's the time table I got from the organisers:
* Nachmelden von Personen 5.3.2010
* Poster als druckfertiges **PDF**, wenn gewünscht, 17. 3. 2010
* Erste Möglichkeit Aufbau 23. 3. 2010 ab 17:00
* Projektstand aufgebaut 24. 3. 2010 09:00
* Beginn Messe 24.3.2010 09:00
* Ende Messe 25.3.2010 17:00

So please put yourself on the list at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SwissTeam/OpenExpo/2010-Bern asap, if you plan to
officially attend the booth (as written on the page, due to the changed layout,
we only need 2 or 3 people per day).

And for Iris: as you can see, the poster needs to be sent by 17.3. It would be
great if we had a first version by end of this month (as mentioned).

Now to the booth material: who has what and can bring it where when?
For me I bring my MacBookPro with Kubuntu 9.10 and perhaps a clean Ubuntu
installation in a VM and additionally my netbook with the Netbook Remix booted
from a USB-stick.

So thats everything for now
Erwin

There are a few things to discuss:
 * once again: the poster ;-)
 * and who wants to be at the booth (we need about 2-3 people per day)
 * whatever I forgot here :D

Well, that would be me :D
And as there are only about three months left, an IRC meeting next week to
settle some first things down. So what about Wednesday or Thursday evening?

I'm for a second somewhat smaller party in Zurich a week before or after the
one in Berne.
Or we could do it the classic way in Zurich an just go out for a beer on the
release date. Would be nice to see some Ubuntu folk in Zurich again.

This is great. It's a great addition for the booth :-)
