[Bug 405155] Re: No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla
totem should work with codecs shipped by default. the rest is probably not really a totem-mozilla bug. rather either gstreamer or main totem. Does the plugin prompt work fine in plain-totem? -- No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-desktop mailing list ubuntu-desktop@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-desktop
[Bug 405155] Re: No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla
Michael Vogt, Odd , I tested it again in the latest beta . it now prompts for install , but previously it would just fail and not inform. So it seems this bug is solved. But it says , suitable plugin cant be found. So, would that be Bug 349607 ? -- No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-desktop mailing list ubuntu-desktop@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-desktop
[Bug 405155] Re: No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla
Thanks for your bugreport. I can not reproduce the issue that the totem plugin does not do a codec search. For me it does and offers the right plugin packages. ** Summary changed: - No prompt to install "ubuntu-restricted-extras" packages + No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla ** Changed in: gnome-codec-install (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- No prompt to install codecs in totem-mozilla https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-desktop mailing list ubuntu-desktop@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-desktop
