 We have frozen the archive for Tribe 5, scheduled for Thursday.
 Uploads will be held in the unapproved queue, if you have an upload
 for main which should be in the Tribe please let me know. Uploads to
 universe can be let through without review by asking me.

 Please continue fixing bugs and close any that have already been
 fixed.

Is it possible to nominate a bug for that list? Currently the open
source ati driver is broken for many people, see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/133192

Cheers,

liblicense, a way for creative commons stuff at desktop

2007-08-21 Thread shirish
Hi all,
   Again sorry for the cross post. I was awestruck by what the guys
have done at http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Liblicense now the issue
is while they have made significant progresses to lot of things like
nautilus GNOME overall. There are 4 packages if one looks at
sourceforge page as well as they have made their own feisty packages
too. While I have made only 1 bug with a -needs packaging tag
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/133899 should I have put up all
the 4 independently of each other or not?
   Please lemme know whichever way is cool. Btw it would be cool
if we could package it in gutsy. Somebody wants to take a shot at it
;)

We're past feature freeze, so it's unlikely for gutsy.

Re: Launchpad bug pages are about to change

2007-08-21 Thread Matthew Paul Thomas

Thanks for the heads up.

Is there any reason why Status and Importance are two columns with two
links to the same URL?

It is useful for them to be two columns for easy scanning when a bug
affects multiple projects/packages. But they are changed in the same
form.

Also, the link to the Assigned to person doesn't underline, nor does
the icon underline, but the Status and Importance links both underline
the icon. Furthermore, the link to the package name underlines, but not
the icon.

So, the interface rendering is a little inconsistent.

Thanks for raising this. I've reported the bug.
http://launchpad.net/bugs/133971

Also, I personally think that a link that reveals something shouldn't
look like a link that goes somewhere.

You can change that with a style entry, something like this:

.reveal{
 cursor:url(zoom.cur),pointer;
}
...

I agree, and it's something I'll consider for a future design.

Cheers
