from today which describes a well-known evil corporation
(you-know-who) and makes mention of Google in China:

In China, Microsoft has complied with censorship rules in operating
its Web search service, preventing Chinese users from easily accessing
banned information. Its archrival Google stopped following censorship
regulations there, and scaled back its operations inside China’s
 Internet firewall.

Looks like the situation has changed since I last read about it. I
wonder how much public outrage and bad publicity had to do with the
apparent change of heart. My opinion of their ethics stands.

Backport an non-exist package to lucid main

2010-09-13 Thread YunQiang Su
Now I am working on backport ibus 1.3 to lucid.

There is a big improvement in ibus 1.3 than 1.2, so for lucid, as a
LTS, it needs better user experience.

But now, I am facing a problem:

IBus-PinYin, which is a main component of ibus for input Chinese, both
hant and hans, depends opencc.

opencc now is in 10.10's main, but it is not in lucid.

Can I backport it?
or need to do something else?

Best Regards.
