Hi Dave,

This list is for developer discussions.

You would be better off looking:
https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/
https://www.ubuntu.com/support/community-support

Having said that, i'd try clearing your config files by opening a
terminal (with libreoffice closed) and running:
mv .config/libreoffice libreofficeconfigbackup

Thanks!
Bryan

LibreOffice documents crashing

2018-01-12 Thread David Hann

Good day.

I am experiencing documents failing to open and stay open using
libreoffice.  I have reloaded both libreoffice-calc and writer but the
problem persists.  No luck using menu/office/libreoffice & then either
calc or writer., in an endevour to open an existing document there
Documents are opening for fraction of a second and then crashing.  No
luck using Libre Office Document Recovery, it goes the full cycle and
offer me the 'finish' button, all this function does is crashes.  Have
rebooted the computer and have actually switched the system completely
off, no luck there.

Should I uninstall Libre Office 5 completely and reinstall Libre Office
5 package?

Kind regards

Dave Hann
