Re: Gnome 3.10 for 13.10?
I don't know what are the plans, but you can be sure that 3.10 will be at least in the gnome3-team repositories. About Ubuntu, as always, they will probably use some software pieces using 3.6, some using 3.8 and some 3.10. Regards. Running the current alpha in a virtual machine, I see it uses GNOME 3.8 and wonder if there are plans to go for GNOME 3.10 with the 13.10 release. I took a look at how basic packaging works and might get involved there. I wonder how collaboration with Debian and upstream Ubuntu works. As GNOME is no more the default Ubuntu desktop, I suppose Ubuntu will use GNOME 3.6 or 3.8. -- Christian Kirbach christian.kirb...@gmail.com -- Ubuntu-GNOME mailing list Ubuntu-GNOME@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-gnome -- Ubuntu-GNOME mailing list Ubuntu-GNOME@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-gnome
Re: [Announcement] NEW Wiki Area is Live now!
I believe Tim is refering to GNOME PPAs (which contain the latest software pieces). If this is the case, here you have all the info: https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/gnome3. In particular the must-have PPA is *ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3*, the experimental (very stable if you ask me) is *ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging*. Re: Partition editor in install not working as expected

On the second attempt, I was able to move the partition, but the Continue and Back buttons stayed disabled. When mousing over the advanced partition manager, the cursor changed to the hand, but could not click. I erased the drive, and installed. If you are trying to install Ubuntu GNOME 13.04, that's http://pad.lv/1164592. See the final comment on that bug. Re: Ubuntu GNOME logo design
On 3 August 2013 21:56, Alfredo Hernández aldomann.desi...@gmail.com wrote: Also, I added images for our Launchpad.net pages. Teams (in this case https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-gnome) use 14x14px for the badge shown in members's profiles, 64x64px for the main profile picture, and 192x192px for an extra profile pic shown in the +mugshots section. Pages (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome) use (I believe) only the 64x pic. Since Tim is part of GNOME3Team (which is the Administrator of ubuntu-gnome), I believe Tim should have access to change the branding. However, for ~ubuntu-gnome it seems that only Jeremy has Administrator powers. Thanks so much for working on this! The Launchpad team logos should be updated now. Could you provide a 100x100px logo for our Planet Ubuntu feed logo?
