Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 Release Schedule.

Hi, I have seen that the Ubuntu version 14.10 and flavors their have a 
release date.

Ubuntu 14.10 Release Schedule.


Alpha 1 - June 26th (for flavors)
Alpha 2 - July 24th (for flavors)
Feature Freeze - August 21st
Beta 1 - August 28th (for flavors)
UI Freeze - September 11th
Final Beta - September 25th
Kernel Freeze - October 2nd
Release Candidate - October 9th

The gnome team can advance some of the new features that will bring that 
version?.


Moreover I saw that ppaGnome-Staging is quite active (many packages 
uploaded recently). Gnome 3.12 is now ready or have to wait a bit ...

Do you're sure of what you say ?

There's only activity in staging ppa. I don't think gnome 3.12 is going to
ppa "next. Only "gnome team" knows where will be present gnome 3.12.
May be their have not yet decided ...

Testing Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 Beta-1.

Hello, these are my first impressions of  ubuntu Gnome 14.04 beta-1.

Installation.

I have done the installation on vmware .. no problem. Once the installation
is done and updating the system .. I reicived many updates including
firefox 28, data gnome control, nautilus ,libreoffice, pulse-audioand
so one. A new version of the kernel is available: 3.13.0-13.33
(dist-upgrade).

Pros:

I thought it was very very fast to boot, applications generally work well
.. The system is fast and fluid ...

Cons:

Any application not working properly, for example .. "shutter" when I try
to edit a screenshot, the application is not responding and freezes ..and
closes unexpectedly.

Firefox 28  does not work very well, if I open multiple tabs the browser
freezes (no respond) ...

The extension "Places status indicator" does not work, and also the
extension Gno Menu.

The overview continues without displaying files, documents (example gedit
documents), *except files with format ".pdf" or ".odt".*

This is my short review, I am not an expert in these questiones ..
