Re: Upgrade testing?
I would recommend just using update-manager to upgrade. if you want to do this before the official release you will need to run `update-manager -d` Tim On 31/08/13 20:46, Juha Siltala wrote: Hi, Regarding upgrades, I have something most of us would probably call a "corner case". I have an old MacBook which refuses to boot from USB, and there is no Ubuntu ISO that fits on a CD (of course this macbook doesn't have a DVD drive). So I installed from Ubuntu minimal and from there went on to install the Ubuntu GNOME stuff. How do I upgrade? I should do the same again once Ubuntu releases the minimal disk again? Yes they should be added, I will get on it! Upgrade testing?
I know I've not been much help with iso-testing this cycle due to time constraints and my prior commitment to Lubuntu testing, but I was just looking over the QA iso tracker and I notice that we don't yet have any upgrade tests listed on the QA tracker. Should we not have since we became an official flavor last cycle? I think it would require a minimal amount of work as we could copy the actual testcase process from another flavor. Anyway it's just a random thought. Lance -- Ubuntu-GNOME mailing list Ubuntu-GNOME@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-gnome
