Extension Pack isn't a real requirement to PAE support. But it doesn't bite ;)Em Mon, 19 Aug 2013 14:07:06 -0300, Ali Linx (amjjawad) escreveu:On Mon, Aug 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM, Efstathios Iosifidis (aka diamond_gr) wrote:

Of course, your real processor must support it.

3. Optional - install "dkms" package (on host machine)

The Vbox started. I'll try to install it and I'll be back if I have any other issues.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Hello,
I already installed the extension pack and did the trick with Enable
PAE/NX so I don't know if I could do it without extension pack
installed. Maybe someone else can test it and tell us what happens.

It passed the black screen with the PAE warning. I installed it and
start using it. It won't be very fast though (since it's virtual box).
I'll try though.

Thanks for help.

Hi,

Could you please provide more details?
What daily build of Ubuntu GNOME are you trying to test?
What type of Virtual Machine are you using? what version?
