[Bug 70824] Re: Greek characters appear smudged in printouts
Testing abiword in Fedora 7, using DejaVu Sans Mono, pdf and ps output, with interesting results - ps output in Ghostview (gv) is smudged - ps output in KGhostview is smudged - ps output in Evince is smudged - Evince shows the pdf correctly. However it prints it out smudged on my Laserjet 1015 printer - Ghostview (gv) shows the pdf smudged. Furthermore a console appears with the following messages: Warning: Embedded symbolic TT fonts must contain a cmap for platform=1 Encoding=0 - KGhostview shows the pdf smudged. - KPDF show the pdf correctly in main view, but smudged in print preview! It also prints it smudged. - Acrobat Reader shows the pdf correctly, it silently fails to print it at all. Καλησπερίζω όλους σας! Είναι το πρώτο μου μήνυμα εδώ και οι πρώτες μου μέρες ενεργούς παρουσίας στο ubuntu-gr. Αφορμή είναι αφενός να χαιρετίσω την προσπάθεια που γίνεται από όλους σας, η οποία είναι πολύ αξιόλογη, να εκδηλώσω το ενδιαφέρον μου να βοηθήσω όσο μπορώ κι εγώ και τέλος να σας ενημερώσω ότι τις τελευταίες 1-2 μέρες ασχολήθηκα λίγο με τη μετάφραση του PureAdmin πακέτου στο launchpad. Όποιος έχει λίγο χρόνο ας του ρίξει μια ματιά. Η πρώτη μου προσπάθεια είναι, εντάξει, θα έχει σίγουρα ελλείψεις γι`αυτό και ζητάω τις συμβουλές σας.
