Γεια χαρά στη λίστα!

Δεν ξέρω αν την έχει πατήσει κανείς σας με το να μείνει χωρίς χώρο στο
δίσκο και ν' αρχίσει διάφορα περίεργα το σύστημα. Ρίξτε μια ματιά στην
ιδέα [1] και ανεβάστε την αν νομίζετε ότι είναι must-have.

Το sxolinux είναι μια αναδιαμορφωμένη (remastered) έκδοση του ubuntu... Αυτό
σημαίνει πως ότι υπάρχει στο sxolinux μπορεί να υπάρξει και στη κανονική
έκδοση ubuntu που συνοδεύεται με τα netbooks των μαθητών (εκτός από κάποιες
custom αλλαγές όπως background, splashscreen, που δεν προσφέρουν όμως τίποτα
παραπάνω στη λειτουργικότητα παρά μόνο στη αισθητική).

Κάνοντας νέα εγκατάσταση του sxolinux σε netbooks θα συναντήσεις σίγουρα
προβλήματα στη συμβατότητα των διάφορων εξαρτημάτων των netbooks (γραφικά,
δίκτυο, ήχος κλπ).

Οι κατασκευαστές που διαθέτουν netbooks με προεγκατεστημένο ubuntu έχουν
κάνει κάποιες επεμβάσεις στο λειτουργικό ώστε να υπάρχει 100% συμβατότητα.
Λειτουργούν όλα out of the box.

Με λίγα λόγια, είναι πάρα πολύ πιο εύκολο να εγκαταστήσεις όλο το λογισμικό
που έχεις δει στο sxolinux στην ήδη έτοιμη εγκατάσταση ubuntu των netbooks
παρά να εγκαθιστάς το sxolinux.

format. Χρησιμο και ευκολο.

Χαιρετώ τη λίστα!

Ο λόγος που  γράφω είνα μάλλον για να ζητήσω βοήθεια και συμβουλές μια και
είμαι καθηγήτρια που καλείται να δουλέψει με το netbook στο σχολέιο.

Το θέμα έχει λοιπόν ως εξής. Τα netbook  των μαθητών έχουν 2 λειτουργικά
(γνωστό βέβαια αυτό) όμως τελικά όλα είναι τελείως διαφορετικά
εγκατεστημένα,

ανάλογα προφανώς με τον προμηθευτή.  Σε άλλα είναι περασμένα τα λοιγισμικά
σε άλλα πάλι όχι σε άλλα βρισκονται τα βιβλία και σε άλλα όχι.

Συν το γεγονός πως όλα έχουν δικό τους διαχωρισμό σε partitions.Εγώ αυτό που
θα ήθελα είναι να τρέξω παντού το sxolinux ώστε να λυθούν όλα αυτά τα

προβλήματα , αλλα δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ πολύ απλά να σβήσω απο το χάρτη τα win
xp (αν και πολυ θα το ήθελα)

Υπάρχει τρόπος να τροποποιήσουμε το σκιπτάκι ώστε να τρέξει στο edubuntu
των παιδιών και να τη μετατρέψει σε sxolinux

(χωρίς δυστυχως να πειράξουμε τα xp);

Έτσι ώστε να έχουν όλοι οι μαθητές το ίδιο λειτουργικό και να μπορούμε να
κάνουμε πιο εύκολα τη δουλεία μας;

Εγώ πάλι θα το φόρμαρα σε 2 partitions,

* το πρώτο FAT32 για Windows και διάφορες συσκευές (πολλές συσκευές δεν
βλέπουν NTFS),
* και θα έκανα και ένα δεύτερο primary το οποίο θα το όριζα ως bootable
για να μπουτάρει Ubuntu (και για δουλειά αλλά και σαν recovery), και στο
οποίο επίσης θα αποθήκευα τα δεδομένα του Linux. Σε ext2/3/4 δηλαδή.

Τα Windows βλέπουν μόνο το πρώτο partition των sticks, οπότε δεν θα
μπορούσε π.χ. το FAT32 partition να είναι το δεύτερο, πρέπει αναγκαστικά
να είναι το πρώτο.

Καλύτερα να φτιάξεις ένα οδηγό που να περιλαμβάνει όσο πιο πολλά Ελληνικά
λεξικά κτλ + κάποιο αρχείο ρυθμίσεων ώστε να μπαίνουν και τα online.
Το αρχείο μπορούμε να το ανεβάσουμε κάπου και να μπορεί να το εφαρμόσει
κάποιος με μια εντολή wget κτλ...

Ευχαριστώ πολύ, αν και δεν πρόλαβα να το δοκιμάσω ακόμη στο karmic. Σε
jaunty δεν παίζει βέβαια :(
Θεωρείς ότι θα ήταν χρήσιμο να μπει αρχείο ρυθμίσεων που να συμπεριλαμβάνει
από την αρχή την ελληνική βικιπαίδεια, το λεξικό του in.gr και το λεξικό
τριανταφυλλίδη ως προεπιλεγμένα online λεξικά; Ή να μείνει το πρόγραμμα ως
έχει και να μπουν οδηγίες στο φόρουμ για όποιους ενδιαφέρονται;
