Ubuntu 11.04 Server - Upgrade Apache2 to 2.1.19 version and PHP5 to 5.3.6
Ποιά είναι η γνώμη σας. Να προσπαθήσω να ενημερώσω Ubuntu 11.04 Server με Apache2 to 2.1.19 version and PHP5 to 5.3.6 με διάφορα πακέτα (πχ dotdeb.org) ή να περιμένω τα επίσημα πακέτα? Τα μη επίσημα είναι αξιόπιστα και αν ναι ποιό να προτιμήσω? Εχεις δίκαιο Παντελή Σε ένα test pc που δοκίμασα μου διέλυσε τον MySQL. Θα περιμένω τα επίσημα πακέτα. Btw για την php δεν ξέρω αλλά για τον apache δε βλέπω κάποιο λόγο αναβάθμισης στο latest upstream αυτή τη στιγμή (τουλάχιστον με βάση το changelog) εκτός ίσως αν χρησιμοποιείς custom (binary) apache modules που δεν το πιστεύω. Χαιρετισμούς Ίσος δεν είναι ώρα για αυτό πλέον μιας και λειτουργεί, άλλα εγώ θα έλεγα αν υπάρχει περίπτωση να το γυρίσεις σε 10.04 κάνε το, και θα έχεις σταθερό και αξιόπιστο σύστημα με ίσος και καμία φορά παλιότερα πακέτα άλλα δοκιμασμένα και αξιόπιστα μιας και είναι LTS .
