[ubuntu-in] New Menu Item "Events" on Ubuntu-In Wiki
Hello All, I have added a new Menu item "Events" on the Navigation bar of http://www.ubuntu-in.org . Please actively use this page to link/describe/discuss any upcoming events where Ubuntu-IN can participate, is participating, has participated :-) Also feel free to link pictures of events. I suppose one can also put in any event related to Foss thats happening in India. For a Start it shall be Foss.in and Freed.in. @ mehul -> Please add the event information of the VJTI Workshop also here. So that things can be discussed over the wiki. Happy Collaboration. -- Aanjhan -- a.k.a Tuxmaniac Locations: #ubuntu-in, #linux-india, #gnu-india @irc.freenode.net CyberHome: http://www.tuxmaniac.com -- -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in

Eek, I did not mean it as that much of a big deal. No need to apologise. I imagine that Mumbaikars knew what you were talking about. All I intended to do was to point out that such subtle cultural references creep in anywhere, similar to where some people dislike USians referring to the US as America. I am not sure if we can have the lab opened tomorrow. If people are coming, I will phone up and ask if we can get the lab opened. -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in

Please do people the courtesy of providing them with a complete description so that they can volunteer to physically be there if possible. [ubuntu-in] Holding ubuntu workshops at VJTI
Next week we will be having an introductory seminar on Linux, at VJTI. It would be great to have a workshops on ubuntu right after that as students would be just introduced to linux and they would have access to 30 PC's with Ubuntu installed on them. When would it be feasible for the team to hold the workshops? Also, it would be great if list members can come up with the list of topics to be covered and ideas on what other activities can be held. -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
