[Bug 1208252] Re: [HP Compaq nx9420 Notebook PC] My bluetooth does not function
Yes, it is present. I've checked it with the live saucy iso of today. Two things I can make more precise about the bug: 1. If the wireless network card and the bluetooth adapter are turned on when the computer starts, both of them are turned off and cannot be turned on again. Even under Windows 7 they cannot be turned on. The only way to do so, is through the BIOS and restoring the default settings. 2. If the the card and the adapter are turned off during boot time, the wireless card (and not the adapter) can be turned on in this case. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1208252 Title: [HP Compaq nx9420 Notebook PC] My bluetooth does not function To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1208252/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

As of now I can confirm that the bug is more severe now (with the latest Live ISO of Saucy). The wireless network card does not function anymore, too. [Bug 1183145] Re: sound is distorted
I've tried this with NO effect: down vote Try sed 's/; default-sample-rate = 44100/default-sample-rate = 96000/g' -i /etc/pulse/daemon.conf That and sudo gedit /etc/pulse/default.pa and adding tsched=0 to load- module module-udev-detect so it becomes load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0 solved the issue for me. [Bug 1038720] Re: Frames are being dropped when playing flash-based videos in Firefox, Chrome, etc.
** Description changed: - A lot of frames are being dropped when flash-based videos are played in Firefox, Chrome, etc. + A lot of frames are being dropped when flash-based videos are played in full screen in Firefox, Chrome, etc. The bug is present in the AMD64 and in the x86 version of Ubuntu. There's very high CPU usage, too (Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GHz, on board). Under SolusOS 1.2 (Debian-based, GNOME 2.30) and in the latest Fuduntu (Fedora-based) there's no such problem. [Bug 1036229] [NEW] Firefox does not apply the system-wide font settings
Public bug reported: Firefox does not use the system-wide settings of fonts' auto-hinting, anti-aliasing, etc. You have to do these steps in order to fix it: Basically, in Terminal, you should enter: gksudo nautilus Find: /etc/fonts/conf.d Then, delete the three files that start with a 10. Once deleted, close the Terminal, open it back up, and key in: sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig Once you restart Firefox, you should see an improvement in the font rendering.
