[Bug 263580] [NEW] Upgrade kernel 2.6.24-18 to 2.6.24-19

2008-09-01 Thread Alex Trenta
Public bug reported:

Among the proposed updates get the version 2.6.24-19 kernel.
I try to install it but remains in use always my current 2.6.24-18.
Not even editing the file /boot/grub/menu.lst solve the problem.
I tried to remove it from synaptic and now I'm not even longer proposed as an
upgrade available.
I use Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 LTS 2.6.24-18-generic

But the problem is not resolved with the update.

[Bug 263027] [NEW] iwlist scan sometimes does not detect the network wifi

2008-08-30 Thread Alex Trenta
Public bug reported:

iwlist scan sometimes does not detect the network wifi public of my fonera,
while the private network is always detected.
The problem is not the fonera or its configuration, as with other operating
systems, (in identical environmental conditions) are always proved both.
