Re: [Ubuntu-PH] OT: Ubuntu on Election Automation
Thanks for that info. I've been watching closely the video shown in the TV news lately, to see what OS they've been using at Smartmatic for configuring cf cards. I noticed a top/bottom bars but I am not so sure, since I am also thinking of a theory that it maybe a running program in full screen, so thank you guys. Anyway, has anyone bothered from the recent cf card issues?? I think their is a flaw in the design of Smartmatic PCOS machines the way it counted votes, ok, as we believe that no system is 100% perfect, but as I see it, it is more to error prone like the single and double spacing issue. Anyway this is a separate topic, if you guys knew of where this topic was being discussed, kindly provide me a link... Re: [Ubuntu-PH] ubuntu-ph Digest, Vol 60, Issue 4
I think you can just ask questions and post the relevant errors in your log. Someone in this list will take a look at it and give you a piece of advice. I don't know about Novell's networking protocol, I think it was IPX/SPX or NCP. I believe it is not Samba that can talk to a Netware server(Samba's purpose is to talk to Windows computers), I think it is http://www.novell.com/products/clients/linux/overview.html. - Original Message - From: feleciano buenavista fgbuenavi...@yahoo.com To: Mailing List para sa Ubuntu Pilipinas (Philippines) ubuntu-ph@lists.ubuntu.com Sent: Monday, March 29, 2010 11:09:53 AM Subject: Re: [Ubuntu-PH] ubuntu-ph Digest, Vol 60, Issue 4 Good Day Allan, Thanks. Is it okay to post here my logs. Though I had install Ubuntu Server 9.10 and configure Samba and everything works well for now. I had transfer some network folder from our Novell 3.12 server w/ a 10g HD. Yah, its 3.12( Super luma na talaga). I still cant understand some of the logs. Hope someone can tell that something is not right base on my logs. --- On Mon, 3/29/10, Allan E. Registos allan.regis...@smpc.steniel.com.ph wrote: From: Allan E.
