[Bug 1926669] [NEW] 20.04 LTS upgrade fails

2021-04-29 Thread Dave Cutler
Public bug reported:

The error message doesn't say what went wrong, but fails to install the
20.04 LTS upgrade. The first time I tried to upgrade is had an error on
3rd party software so I disabled all 3rd party sources and tried again.
Still fails, but doesn't say why.

[Bug 530725] [NEW] Graphic glitches

2010-03-02 Thread Cutler
Public bug reported:

Hello guys, I recently decided to give a try to new Ubuntu 10.04.
Unfortunately I have a problem with my graphics as everything is messed
up take a look on the screen attached. It might be something with the
drivers, I have radeon X1200 and it is working ok only when using vesa
driver. For the ati or radeonhd it's very bad. With 9.10 everything
worked perfectly.

PS: I solved it by turning the KMS off with the nomodeset option in the
boot options.

[Bug 526810] [NEW] Incompatible with jquery 1.3.2

2010-02-23 Thread Justin R. Cutler
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: trac

Trac 0.11.5 (and the latest 0.11.6) are not compatible with jquery
1.3.2.

Trac normally is distributed with jquery, but the Ubuntu patch for Trac
0.11.5-2ubuntu1 removes trac/htdocs/js/jquery.js and substitutes a
symlink to the version of jquery provided by libjs-jquery.

The original Trac ticket: http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/8594

The patch to fix the incompatible files:

[Bug 429978] Re: The requested URI ghelp:empathy is invalid

2009-10-10 Thread Paul Cutler
As of the 9.10 beta, this bug is still present. This could be a problem
with Yelp or gnome-doc-utils displaying the new GNOME XML help, Mallard.

I am also not able to display Mallard documents by calling them manually
in Yelp from the command line (using the full path as Yelp requires). I
did an Empathy git checkout form upstream GNOME and the help files won't
appear.

[Bug 76332] Re: Trac 0.10.3-1 needed in edgy-backports

2007-04-01 Thread Justin R. Cutler
This bug is only in the version of Trac in edgy-backports
(0.10.2-1~edgy1). All other versions of Trac in Ubuntu do not have this
bug.

The 0.10 series of Trac does introduce many new features over the
version in edgy (0.9.6-2), and likely does not belong in edgy.

Multiple people (4 at last count, including myself) have verified that
the version in feisty (0.10.3-1) works. Indeed, I am using this version
on multiple live systems and have not encountered any problems.

** Changed in: edgy-backports (upstream)
   Status: Rejected = Confirmed

[Bug 76332] Re: Trac 0.10.3-1 needed in edgy-backports

2007-01-16 Thread Justin R. Cutler
0.10.3-1 builds, installs, and works perfectly well under prevu.
+1 edgy

(This is not a particularly common package, so it may be a while before
three more people test this, but this is a rather major bugfix. Is
there any chance of putting this into backports earlier?)

[Bug 76332] Trac 0.10.3-1 needed in edgy-backports

2006-12-18 Thread Justin R. Cutler
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: trac

Trac 0.10.2-1, which is the latest version in edgy-backports, still has
the NoSuchChangeset bug. This was fixed in 0.10.3~rc1-1. Feisty
currently has 0.10.3-1, which is the latest stable version.

This bug prevents having a working Trac environment on a system that is
using apache2-mpm-prefork, which means that Trac and PHP cannot easily
coexist while using Apache.
