[Bug 480815] Re: No record-signal from internal mic (Notebook, Sigmatel, HDA Intel)

2009-11-12 Thread DenniX
Hey,

yes, it works with one mic (of two). I have 2 mic's on my notebook. One
(two in a array) at the top of my screen and one on the front of the
cardreader (nearly the touchpad) that works.

The mic array on the top of my screen doesn't work. In my list in the
soundsettings, Ubuntu shows Microphone 1 and Microphone 2.

By the way: Why linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic is not
installed by default respectively why the microphone driver isn't
working by default?

[Bug 353147] [NEW] Ubuntu doesn't turn off notebook

2009-04-01 Thread DenniX
Public bug reported:

I have Ubuntu 9.04 Beta installed on my notebook (Dell Inspiron 1525)

den...@spider:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release:9.04

On my notebook, I have a little LVM.
You can see my partitiontable in attachments.

The bug:
Sometimes (circa 70 percent), when I shut down Ubuntu I get nearly the
following error message:
 umount: /var: device is busy.
(In some cases useful info about processes that use
the device is found by lsof(8) or fuser(1))

Ubuntu (or the kernel? I don't know!) wasn't able to unmount /dev/sda6 (/var).
The other 30 percent, Ubuntu is going down successful.

[Bug 341222] Re: No borders at windows

2009-03-31 Thread DenniX
I think, you can close this bug.
I found out, that this bug only appears, when I copy a Compiz Fusion Profile
from other computer (e.g.: ATI Radeon 850) to my notebook (Intel GMA X3100).
Maybe problems with the (graphic) driver?

[Bug 341222] Re: No borders at windows

2009-03-12 Thread DenniX
Sorry, but I don't know what package it can be.

I tried metacity --replace, then I had borders. But on restart, it was just
the same bug.
Compiz is in my settings, set to no effects.
With Compiz Effects, this bug is still there on restart.

Which package could it be? Can I edit this?
