[Bug 290151] Re: Bluetooth not working on MSI Wind U100
I have the same problem, on an MSI Wind U90 Pressing Fn + F11 doesn't cycle through those combinations, it just turns the second LED (the wireless LED) on/off/on/off/on/off. It doesn't do anything with the first bluetooth LED. lshw | grep bluetooth doesn't find anything. hci dev shows no devices. -- Bluetooth not working on MSI Wind U100 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 246141] Re: no support for realtek rtl8187se
Hi, I installed the latest driver .deb for 2.6.27-9. http://boskastrona.ovh.org/download/linux-rtl8187se-modules-102...@2.6.27.9.19.deb Now, KNetworkManager and iwconfig at least see the wlan0 device. But KNetworkManager still doesn't list the available networks and when I try to connect manually, it doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea what to do? Thanks. -- no support for realtek rtl8187se https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 267486] [NEW] libfltk1.1-dev doesn't install header symlinks
Public bug reported: When I install libfltk1.1-dev, it doesn't install the symlinks /usr/include/FL/foobar.h pointing to /usr/include/foobar.H When installing FLTK from source, these symlinks are created. (that's the way it needs to be) So now I installed the Ubuntu package, and libraries can't find the foobar.h (lower case) headers. ** Affects: fltk1.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- libfltk1.1-dev doesn't install header symlinks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267486 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 235591] [NEW] fsck and dosfsck on every boot
Public bug reported: I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 (KDE4) Amd64 on an Acer 5024Wlmi laptop. The battery has been removed and it runs on wall socket power. Every time the pc boots, after a certain time the splash screen disappears, and you see all disks are being checked. *Checking root filesystems (bla bla, crypto disks) *Checking file systems (then it does fsck and then dosfsck on the two Fat32-partitions that are mounted) Normally, disks are only checked once per 30 mounts. Why are all disks checked every boot? /etc/fstab is just normal, to my knowledge. There's a '1' in the check-column, but that's quite normal. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- fsck and dosfsck on every boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235591 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 193798] Re: Audio-CD is not recognised
Today, I upgraded (must be an upgrade to Alpha5). The problem is still there: I put the CD in the drive, Totem appears and can't open cdda:. When I rightclick on the item cdda: in the Totem playlist and choose Copy location and paste that in an editor, I get: file:///home/myname/cdda%3A/ So Totem thinks the CD is mounted in my home directory?! In the file manager, I can't find it in my home directory. In /media, there are two CD-directories: cdrom (which is a symlink) and cdrom0. But those are empty and are present when the CD is not in the drive as well. -- Audio-CD is not recognised https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 193798] [NEW] Audio-CD is not recognised
Public bug reported: In Xubuntu Hardy, when I insert an audio-CD, Totem comes up but says it can't find cdda:. The CD-drive doesn't show up on the desktop or somewhere in the file system. It's evidently not mounted, because the CD-drive can immediately open when I push its button. When I insert the same audio-CD's in Gutsy, Totem also comes up BUT it can play the CD and the CD-drive appears at the desktop. So there must be something wrong in Hardy. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Audio-CD is not recognised https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 183519] update-mangager won't upgrade
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager When I start my update-manager, it says it must PARTLY upgrade in order to install updates. [Bug 178324] Login screen appears twice in Xubuntu Hardy
Public bug reported: When I login with my username and password in Xubuntu (Hardy Alpha2), it returns to the terminal and I see the start-up-procedures for a moment. Then it gets back to the login screen. When I login then, it finally goes to my desktop. So, in fact I have to login twice before I get into my account.
