[Bug 147155] Re: firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV

2007-09-30 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you Kaïs Bejaoui for submitting this report.

Unfortunately this report lacks information we need to investigate it further.
Of course this is not your fault, but the coredump attached to your report
doesn't provide useful information for us.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on [1]
and upload it to [2].

Please confirm that this crash is reproducible and describe the steps that lead
to it (it is very important for us to have a test case for each crash). Also,
confirm if possible, that the crash is reproducible after disabling your third
party extensions.

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

H. Montoliu

[Bug 144371] Re: 'Translate This Application' and 'Get Help Online' causes Firefox to crash

2007-09-28 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you Robert Hrovat for submitting this report.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions
on [1], or upload the crash report that probably was generated during
the crash and that should be located at /var/crash/ to [2].

Please indicate which extensions/plugins do you have enabled; and if
this crash is reproducible describe the steps that lead to it (it is
very important for us to have a test case for each crash).

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

H. Montoliu

Thank you Gabriel de Perthuis for your report,

Is this crash reproducible? It would be very important for us to have a
test case with much detail as possible to reproduce this crash.

What gdk theme were you using? was the default one?

Thank you in advance.

2007-09-27 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you obxjdt for submitting this report.

Unfortunately this report lacks information we need to investigate it further.
Of course this is not your fault, but the coredump attached to your report

Please confirm that this crash is reproducible and describe the steps that lead
to it (it is very important for us to have a test case for each crash). Also,
confirm if possible, that the crash is reproducible after disabling your third
party extensions.

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 145733] Re: firefox not working with ubuntu

2007-09-27 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't
fix it, because your description didn't include enough information.

* Please describe which is the problem.
* Which are the specific steps or actions we have to do to reproduce the
problem.
* Describe also the behavior you expected and the behavior you encounter as in
much detail as possible.

If the problem you have produce a crash please also attach the crash
report you might find at /var/crash to [1], as the gdb output you
attached seems that doesn't provide useful info.

Thank you in advance,

H. Montoliu

We are going to close this report because it looks that it was caused by
a third party extension which we can do anything about it. You might
want to report it upstream directly.

Thanks for your contribution. Don't hesitate to submit new crashes,

+ ... firefox crashes each time
+

  Hi!

I had some minor problems with firefox before. It crashed from time to
time during startup, but I was able to kill the firefox-bin task and in
most cases it worked until I restarted the laptop. But today, firefox
doesn't even leave a dead task behind, it just crashes each time.

Below is the output of firefox-dbg package.

[Bug 139919] Re: Firefox crash without reason

2007-09-22 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you lordvader240 for submitting this report.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions
on [1], or upload the full crash report that probably was generated during
the crash and that should be located at /var/crash/ to [2]; the report
you have uploaded doesn't have a valid retrace nor a coredump to
investigate further.

Confirm that the crash is reproducible and describe it step by step. It
would be a good idea to backup your profile and try to reproduce the
crash with a fresh one (see link [1]).

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 139784] Re: firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV

2007-09-22 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you Florin for submitting this report.

Unfortunately this report lacks information we need to investigate
itfurther. Of course this is not your fault, but the coredump attached
toyour report doesn't provide useful information for us.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions
on [1] and upload it to [2].

Please confirm that this crash is reproducible and describe the steps
that lead to it (it is very important for us to have a test case foreach
crash). Also, confirm if possible, that the crash is reproducible after
disabling your third party extensions.

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 139869] Re: firefox crash

2007-09-16 Thread Hilario J.

Also indicate what version of Ubuntu and what version of firefox are you
running.

Thank you in advance,

Thank you Johnathon for submitting this report.

Unfortunately this report lacks information we need to investigate it
further. Of course this is not your fault, but the file you attached to
your report doesn't provide useful information for us (we need the core
dump of the crash). For this reason, could you please try to obtain a
backtrace by following the instructions on [1], or upload the *full*
crash report that probably was generated during the crash and that
should be located at /var/crash/ to [2].

Please disable all you third party extensions and try to reproduce the
crash. If you find a way to reproduce it please don't doubt to submit
it.

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

2007-09-10 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
Thank you Helder Ribeiro for submitting this report.

[Bug 124424] Re: MASTER firefox crashed [EMAIL PROTECTED]::Paint] [EMAIL PROTECTED]::PaintChild] [EMAIL PROTECTED]::PaintChildren]

2007-09-05 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
I think we need a test case to reproduce this crash. I've tried it by
setting the fonts to DejaVu Serif as suggests Rico and I'm not able to
reproduce the crash.

[Bug 133277] Re: [GUTSY] firefox crashed [EMAIL PROTECTED] at #6] [EMAIL PROTECTED]::DrawWidgetBackground]

2007-09-04 Thread Hilario J. Montoliu \(hjmf\)
** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox

  ... [GUTSY] firefox crashed

... firefox crashes when opening preferences, print or download dialog

I get a hard crash like this when I click on a file that will be downloaded,
opening the preferences dialog, or the print dialog. It may happen in other
places, but I haven't tested them. The new windows that's created is blank, and
the main windows goes numb. The backtrace says it's and invalid pointer
sometimes, others a double free or corruption.
