[Bug 498446] [NEW] Installing software from the Software Center

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

When installing new software using the software center, two copies of
the new package appear on the in progress screen. This is confusing as I
was not sure what extactly was happening. It also looks untidy.

It would seem that there is only one request and just the information on
the screen is duplicated. Annoying but not urgent.
