[Bug 791660] Re: Unity Dual-Screen

2011-06-02 Thread Jesse Matties
** Description changed:

With this same configuration in 10.10, everything worked beautifully. On a
fresh install of 11.04, dual-screen has not worked.
The Monitor is detected fine, and the correct resolution is available,
however only the top Unity bar shows on the external display; the rest is
black. The mouse works everywhere on both screens, but the top portion of the
main laptop screen is black. When dragging windows into the black area on
either screen, the window disappears, but the mouse remains.

+ The monitor is connected with a VGA cable.

[Bug 791660] [NEW] Unity Dual-Screen

2011-06-01 Thread Jesse Matties
Public bug reported:

With this same configuration in 10.10, everything worked beautifully. On a
fresh install of 11.04, dual-screen has not worked.
The Monitor is detected fine, and the correct resolution is available, however
only the top Unity bar shows on the external display; the rest is black. The
mouse works everywhere on both screens, but the top portion of the main laptop
screen is black. When dragging windows into the black area on either screen,
the window disappears, but the mouse remains.

[Bug 683133] Re: Keyboard backlight does not work on Toshiba Satellite M series laptops

2011-03-29 Thread Jesse Matties
** Description changed:

- Disabling ACPI causes the backlight to work perfectly. However, this has the
unfortunate side effect of disabling monitor brightness control and suspend
ability (and likely other things). Is there a way we can just disable ACPI for
the keyboard alone?

[Bug 656067] Re: Wacom Tablet mouse-wheel always scrolls down

2010-10-18 Thread Jesse Matties
Thank you!
I had to use: $make -k
Otherwise it would give me an error.

I works perfectly now!

[Bug 656067] Re: Wacom Tablet mouse-wheel always scrolls down

2010-10-17 Thread Jesse Matties
Thank you for this solution. I entered:

./configure --enable-wacom

It said:
Your wacom.ko will be available under
/home/user/linuxwacom-0.8.8-10/src/2.6.30

but: Makefile.in, wacom.h, wacom_sys.c, wacom_wac.c, wacom_wac.h, were the only
files there.
Am I missing something?

thanks,
