Hi
I created another USB-stick.
Indeed now no errors found.
Installation went smooth.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Thanks and regards,
Karel

[Bug 1874517] [NEW] I/O-error and installation cannot proceed

2020-04-23 Thread Karel Zimmer
Public bug reported:

I thought the USB-stick is in a pristine condition.
One error was reported, but that use to be the case in the old days too.
Continue w/installation and got I/O-error and installation was aborted after
typing in User Name, etc.
Will try later w/another USB-stick though.

2012-10-30 Thread Karel Zimmer
Hi,

it looks as if it occurs only on one of my seven Ubuntu Linux machines.
So maybe this is more a incident?
Maybe we wait for others to occur, otherwise i am fine if this bug is closed.

Thanks,
Karel
