By breaking, I mean that the + touchpad suddenly stops working; I am unable to move the mouse cursor + with the touchpad. However, if I plug in an external USB mouse, the + cursor can be moved and used as normal. If I then unplug the mouse, the + touchpad is still broken. I can get the touchpad working again by + logging out and then logging back in. [Bug 847880] [NEW] Extremely slow boot - 3 minutes or more
Public bug reported: My PC takes 3 minutes to boot since installing Beta 1. During most of the boot time, it seems to hang at the Ubuntu logo. If I then press Esc to get to verbose mode, I see a flashing cursor after the starting CUPSOK line. This lasts for over 2 and a half minutes, after which a few more lines flash by and I reach the login screen. [Bug 840828] [NEW] NVIDIA 8600 too hot
Public bug reported: (The only nearly relevant choice I could find in apport was xorg, so I'm sorry if this is incorrect.) I'm running Oneiric Beta1 fully updated. I've noticed my laptops cooling fan is permanently running, and that the temperature of my graphics card reaches 86 degrees C according to the NVIDIA Server Settings information. I've never seen such high temperatures before. My laptop is actually almost too hot to touch underneath. Before Oneiric, the temperature of the graphics card was around 50 to 60 degrees C. These temperatures are reached during normal everday use of my laptop. I'm only running Firefox, Thunderbird, Dropbox, Ubuntu One, Empathy, Gwibber and Liferea. No games, or other graphic intensive stuff. I've attached a screenshot of NVIDIA Server Settings. [Bug 798132] [NEW] No icons in Applications Lens
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity The first time I launch the Applications Lens after the computer boots, there are no icons displayed on the overlay.
