[Bug 622849] [NEW] FF hangs when opening and saving a large JPG at the same time

2010-08-23 Thread Nic Roets
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Linux nic-laptop 2.6.32-22-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 3 22:02:19 UTC 2010
i686 GNU/Linux
Description:Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release:10.04
firefox:
  Installed: 3.6.8+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1
  Candidate: 3.6.8+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.04.1

Open the large jpeg file. While it is loading, right-click on it and choose
Save As. My computer hangs at that point. I could not launch a terminal to kill
FF with, not even by hitting Ctrl+Alt+F1.

[Bug 596282] [NEW] Example in info page is incomplete

2010-06-19 Thread Nic Roets
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flex

In part 21.2 of the info page (Overriding The Default Memory
Management), the example correctly shows that #include should be placed
in a %{ ... }% block. The example will however only compile after
placing the two #define lines in a (seperate) %{ ... }% block.

The save error is also present in the html version of the same manual
that is contained in the flex-doc package.

[Bug 278647] Re: gosmore crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()

2008-11-29 Thread Nic Roets
For gosmore to work, the data (e.g. germanyWest) must match the package
version.

Furthermore, that the 2007 version of gosmore does not support the
current version of OSM-XML. Either ubuntu should stop distributing
gosmore, or it should distribute a more recent version.
