[Bug 1937072] Re: Incomplete screen redraws
List of things I have to Inform you what I have tested.I am Computer Science student but new to linux so I have tested many things. 1. I have used both x-org and nvidia GPU. After fresh installation and on reboot I got into many problem my touchpad and brightness controller were not working and screen glitch so i fixed my brightness and touchpad using ubuntu community posts. But glitch were all same I have tried many solution but not solved. so I posted ubuntu-bug. 2. I have changed setting from bios to disable NVIDIA but glitch problem not solved. And on using NVIDIA Driver there were not glitch performance were perfectly fine but on restart i got stucked on boot menu screen were blank so i ran into recovery and change my driver to x-org intel. 3. Before bug submission I have tested around 10 popular linux distro all were having same problem screen glitches. 4. only two distro have not occoured a display glitch problem one was ubuntu 20.04 LTS and ubuntu budgie 21.04 but that distro causes same touchpad and brightness controll problem that was so frustating. So I came to conclusion that my intel driver is buggy and on reboot my device alwaay fail to recognise touchpad and display driver. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937072 Title: Incomplete screen redraws To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1937072/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 893992] [NEW] Messaging Indicator does not go blue on new mail in Thunderbird IMAP account
Public bug reported: My Thunderbird is configured to connect via LAN to my college IMAP server. When a new mail arrives, there is only a system notification saying a new mail has arrived. The Messaging Indicator envelope does not turn blue. Neither does the Thunderbird icon in the Unity Launcher show unread mail count. So if I miss the notification because I was looking away, I do not have a way of knowing that a mail has arrived. [Bug 846955] [NEW] Display issue in new files
Public bug reported: When I open a new PDF file, the place where the title bar should have been is empty. Since my default setting for new files is to open in a maximised window, which in Unity does not have a separate title bar, it shows an empty space where the title bar should have been if it did not merge with the panel. But when I open the file the next time, without changing anything, it displays it properly. The window is properly maximized and there are no empty spaces. [Bug 709049] [NEW] Network Manager is unable to use a BSNL mobile as modem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager BSNL is one of the major service providers in India, and they recently changed their network settings to integrate 3G. They have a new APN and some more changes have beeen made. As a result, network manager is unable to connect. wvdial works, and the attached wvdialrc file is the configuration I use for dialing the network(both 2G and 3G use the same settings). However, Network Manager stubbornly refuses to dial the network, and this is a major hindrance.
