full tilt . An intruder , my guess ? I down loaded updates which was a
no-no before got ABP installed but I can't tell if it's enabled . UFW

Re: [Bug 688297] Re: attempted to change nameserver .

2010-12-14 Thread Ronshua
Brother Kamus I'm running my hamsters into the ground just to get a little
net . Reproducible ? Thanks for a really really good laugh . Yes as a matter
of fact -if I can stop laughing I'll finish - Yes I can , I just install a
new system and install and install like mange on a dog , there it is . O
by the way this one is drug booze free as in none . I'm not trying to be
rude , my thanks to all the hard working folks at Ubuntu . I can't tell you
or wont , how I'm on line now with a live , no password to lock me out of ,
no battery in my pc , zorin 9.10 being the only disk left that lights up .
It's been in for about 2 hours . The install before , 3 hours last night
about 3 hours until reinstall .

I doubt seriously if you can help me . But I may help you look in a
direction that can help others . On my hard drives I found free or unknown
space 0-63 sometimes it will own-up to being a 1 Mb partition . Once I got a
30 Gb first sector formated with not Linux , ntfs or fat , raw space is no
good . I installed used it 5 days then I tried to upgrade , wrong . Froze
harder than the hubs of hell . The bug knows that trick now . My monster has
my mac , in the first 0-63 is a dealer it steals mine , replacing mine with
a bogus one , can you see where I'm going here . Open Users and Groups
open proxy edit type fill the value with 9s close open deal 1 and
that number in the vales space and hear what I've heard sense I found it .
If you have that same crud ! If one gets what I've got , your hanging by the
short curlys .
I stopped using firestarter or ufw this bug takes it beats you senseless
with them .
Somehow ifupdown is being used like the hitler youth was . gpg is key . I
think after almost a year of hell , this bug is using older distributions
giving them the flue getting them to replace updated ones by alternate
replacement trickery . In my four machines all the above is common . 9.10 is
all that will hold at least for a time . Dear Brother , Reproducible ?
Thanks again for a really really good laugh . May HE who is bless you
yours .

 Bug description:
 Binary package hint: firefox

This bug takes user , in my case , ronron was the administrator user, my
name was Ron , root now is owned by ronronRonron , password ( ? ) In the
past I used ron the bug simply added a ron to make ronron . Time-outs ?
Dialing in part of a password timing out ? It all festers in .gvfs ,/etc/
user/shared/orbit sometimes /tmp/tmp added , but not this time , from my
wired net , hitching a ride in on a ligament download , turning the OS
against itself . ( you don't own it , permission denied ) No package manager
, no net manager . This BUG keeps changing , each time I reinstall , I'm
not that computer literate enough to get ahead of it . I regroup format
reinstall I'm facing a new version . This BUG does not like snort I
can download it , but wont let it install completely . gufw ufw status
enabled but it's not , no logs no intrusion warning . Firestarter tells me
 I'm being probed has blocked many . 80 , 8080 , 22 , 443 is wide open , if
I close-off 443 NO NET . My address is 10.202.46.1/3 , in whois today said
 it was 66.205.144.72 . Host has been 66.60.130.2 with a .6 for search ,
 today 66.185.138.245 , there's a dial out installed to 214-748-3647 in my
users and groups . The first thing shutdown is updates downloads next to
falter is permissions . That's the starting of the end . Ubuntu 10.4 is
great love-it , I think , I'm reasonable sure my 64 bit is being turned to
32 and vise-versa . I'm not going to mark vulnerability , you folks do that
, I'll say this , this install of 10.4 was buggy on the install 4 days ago ,
so I loaded 10.10 on a usb drive , losing control of it with in hours . Back
on this 10.4 . Stayed off net tried to delete , nousregroup , proxy ,
nopasswordlogin , other stuff . .gvfs in hidden wasn't used in this bug
version but /tmp/orbit - x 7 or 8 or more different long strings whatis (
 nothing appropriate ) is evident . This 3 1/2 or 4 days is a record , alas
not much longer . when I reboot grub will be missing . I think this bug let
me get part of my IPTables loaded enabled , I feel like a Guinea pig or
lab-rat some times . One of the reasons I'm still here is I have a group
open in users groups I can't change anything they ...I mean this bug
can't finish me off . Are we having fun yet . Long live our Republic , thank
 God for Linux .

[Bug 647912] [NEW] root password changed system inept

2010-09-25 Thread Ronshua
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

This bug takes user , in my case , ronron was the administrator user, my
name was Ron , root now is owned by ronronRonron , password ( ? ) In
the past I used ron the bug simply added a ron to make ronron . Time-
outs ? Dialing in part of a password timing out ? It all festers in
.gvfs ,/etc/ user/shared/orbit sometimes /tmp/tmp added , but not this
time , from my wired net , hitching a ride in on a ligament download ,
turning the OS against itself . ( you don't own it , permission denied )
No package manager , no net manager . This BUG keeps changing , each
time I reinstall , I'm not that computer literate enough to get ahead of
it . I regroup format reinstall I'm facing a new version . This BUG
does not like snort I can download it , but wont let it install
completely . gufw ufw status enabled but it's not , no logs no
intrusion warning . Firestarter tells me I'm being probed has blocked
many . 80 , 8080 , 22 , 443 is wide open , if I close-off 443 NO NET .
My address is 10.202.46.1/3 , in whois today said it was 66.205.144.72 .
Host has been 66.60.130.2 with a .6 for search , today 66.185.138.245 ,
there's a dial out installed to 214-748-3647 in my users and groups .
The first thing shutdown is updates downloads next to falter is
permissions . That's the starting of the end . Ubuntu 10.4 is great
love-it , I think , I'm reasonable sure my 64 bit is being turned to 32
and vise-versa . I'm not going to mark vulnerability , you folks do that
, I'll say this , this install of 10.4 was buggy on the install 4 days
ago , so I loaded 10.10 on a usb drive , losing control of it with in
hours . Back on this 10.4 . Stayed off net tried to delete ,
nousregroup , proxy , nopasswordlogin , other stuff . .gvfs in hidden
wasn't used in this bug version but /tmp/orbit - x 7 or 8 or more
different long strings whatis ( nothing appropriate ) is evident .
This 3 1/2 or 4 days is a record , alas not much longer . when I reboot
grub will be missing . I think this bug let me get part of my IPTables
loaded enabled , I feel like a Guinea pig or lab-rat some times . One
of the reasons I'm still here is I have a group open in users groups I
can't change anything they ...I mean this bug can't finish me off .
Are we having fun yet . Long live our Republic , thank God for Linux .

Greetings Pedro Villavi thank you for the info . I love Ubuntu the

net for more than 48 hours . I can't get ubuntu anything to install
preform for over 3 days now . Starting at 7:30 am I tried again 10.10

right in the root passwords would not function . Mandriva 2010 OSC dvd
installed in my 64 , NO net , processes 16834 3994 were busy . At about
6:30 I tried an old downloaded Zorin 1.0 , 64 , installed , got it on the
Internet BUT no sound yet . Just before that , I spent another 45 minuts
with a sure west service teck , his equipment told him my IP was hot , could
have fooled my . My phase led's are flickering telling me I'm being probed
again , I'm going to send this while I can .
Bless you and all the great people at linux extra for the Ubuntu Folks ,

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

 Bug description:
 Could not calculate the upgrade

An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
The essential package 'hostname' is marked for removal.

 This can be caused by:
 * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
 * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
 * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the
'update-manager' package and include the files in

Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. Your
report should contain, at a minimum, the following information so we can
better find the source of the bug and work to resolve it.

Submitting the bug about the proper source package is essential. For
 help see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . Additionally,
 in the report please include:

 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or
 System - About Ubuntu.
 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or
 by checking in Synaptic.
 3) What happened and what you expected to happen.

The Ubuntu community has also created debugging procedures for a wide
variety of packages at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures .
Following the debugging instructions for the affected package will make
your bug report much more complete. Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't
include enough information. You may find it helpful to read How to report
 bugs effectively
 http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.htmlhttp://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/%7Esgtatham/bugs.html.
We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of
the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
 http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures.
 At a minimum, we need:
 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the
 problem,
 2. the behavior you expected, and
 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
 Thanks!

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the
appropriate application's Help - Report a Problem menu or using
'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more
 about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

) there just collateral damage , something this , cracker , builds on uses
. Locked out of , sudoers , is a helpless state . I accessed the logs
briefly , before the end . Early in the log history , not to long after
install , user ron requested hidden some script , then , PROBE
competent , new user added . at users request . Soon after that , user
ron logged out ( news to me ) every once in a while I catch , rOn sudo

designation of file systems on active partitions , starting with , Microsoft

apologize for my ineptness inability to help more . I'm going to look for
