[ubuntu-in] UAC in Ibex - How to?
Hi all, I want to configure my system in such way that I want the one user (the one created during installation) to have a Static IP configuration(which has internet connection, as per our server setting). If logged on as any other user, i want the system to have a Dhcp configuration. Is this possible? Or, can I deny internet access to all users except one root user by some other means? [ubuntu-in] General OpenSourcing Doubt !
Hi all, Am just curious on how to release a software we built under GPL? Like, Should I own a copyright for it and then release it under GPL inorder to take the credit? Re: [ubuntu-in] General OpenSourcing Doubt !
Thanks everyone, Then basically to appreciate something as your creation (though you allow anyone to reuse/modify) you need to copyright it. @Shrinivasan How will GPL ensure it is our work (ie. you are the original creators) if you dont own an copyright for it? and Thanks Parthan, Mine is case (2) Venkatesan Padmanabhan venkatesan...@gmail.com On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 3:16 PM, Shakthi Kannan shakthim...@gmail.comwrote: Hi, --- On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 2:52 PM, Venkatesan Padmanabhan venkatesan...@gmail.com wrote: | Am just curious on how to release a software we built under GPL? | Like, Should I own a copyright for it and then release it under GPL inorder | to take the credit? \-- Yes.
