[Bug 887984] [NEW] gnome-do does not remember last operation on a file

2011-11-09 Thread johan rebez
Public bug reported:

I open gnome do and type myscript. Then I select that I want to Run it (not to
open it)
Next time that I type myscript It prompts me again to open it (not to run it)
Gnome-do should normally remember my last action on that file. But it doesn't.

Note: myscript is located inside a directory that I have added in the
'Files and Folders' plugin

[Bug 872237] [NEW] Files and folders plugin bash environment not set.

2011-10-11 Thread johan rebez
Public bug reported:

GNOME Do 0.8.3.1 / Ubuntu 10.04 / Files and Folders v.2.5

- Create a directory.
- Add it to the 'Indexed Folders' list of the 'Files and Folders Plugin'.
- Create an executable script inside this directory named 'mytestscript'
containing the following:
#!/bin/bash
set  ~/bash_environment_dump ;
###

- Restart gnome do so that indexed path changes take effect.
- 1. execute ./mytestscript and look at the file: ~/bash_environment_dump
- 2. execute mytestscript through gnome-do search, and look again at the file
~/bash_environment_dump

The difference is that the environment has not been set correctly in case 2.
E.g. The $PATH variable has not been set correctly in case 2.
It is like the .bashrc was never executed.

[Bug 724413] Re: Files and Folders plugin does not execute command

2011-04-14 Thread johan rebez
I believe the actual problem is that gnome-do will not remember my last
selection. (e.g.) to run the command.

FYI: the commands are softlinks and are in the $PATH.

[Bug 724413] [NEW] Files and Folders plugin does not execute command

2011-02-24 Thread johan rebez
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-do

I have created a directory called gnome-do in my scripts. I have added
this directory to 'Files and Folders' plugin. All the files inside there
are executables. When i write the name of the command in gnome do,
sometimes it prompts me to open the file. If I restart gnome-do and
write again the command it then prompts me to run the file. (The path is
in both cases the same)
